With Northern California roots, six-time Sacramento music award winning singer-songwriter, Jessica Malone, writes songs that seem to grow from the landscape itself. With a mix of indie folk and soulful Americana, Malone offers her powerful and dynamic voice, surrounded by lush and organic instrumentation. ukulele, acoustic & electric guitars usher listeners through her tales of wanderlust.
Jessica is a classically trained vocalist who received a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from Humboldt State University in 2009. While in school, she spent her time expanding her vocal range, learning classical arias and finding a deep love for vocal harmonies in acapella jazz choirs. She has had the honor of performing with a choir in the heavenly acoustics of The Mormon Tabernacle and on a stage at The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
After graduating, Jessica began to develop her strong passion for songwriting and since then has been writing and performing her own original folk/Americana songs with enchanting melodies and meaningful lyrics.
Jessica is also passionate about teaching and sharing the gift of music! She teaches guitar, voice, ukulele, and songwriting lessons to all ages and skill levels. Her unique approach prioritizes encouragement and positivity within a structured lesson plan that sets each student up for success!
